Carina Press, our digital-first imprint, acquires across a broad range of romance subgenres. We welcome all pairings/groupings, including LGBTQ+, for publication in our general Carina Press imprint. Submissions will be accepted from May 1, 2024 at 0:01 am ET to May 31, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET. The Romance Includes You Mentorship is all about finding new voices in romantic fiction that bring more diversity and representation to the genre. We’re looking to offer one writer a publishing contract with an advance for their debut novel, as well as a one-year mentorship with a Harlequin editor to complete their story for publication, and a writing grant to support their early writing career. The mentorship has a total value of $5,000 USD. Who Should Apply For the mentorship, we are interested in submissions by authors in underrepresented communities, including, but not limited to, people who identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Color, biracial and multiracial, members of 2SLGBTQ+ communities, marginalized ethnic and religious cultures, and people living with disabilities and neurodiversity.
